March is said to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, usually referring to the weather. It is during this time that we prepare for a change of seasons. Participating in seasonal rituals from spring cleaning to the observance of spring's holidays . I think we could all agree that March 2020 has been turned on its head! In North America, the weather wasn’t of significance as the winter was mild. Yet, the symbolism of this day and hour are uncanny. Without a doubt, God is trying to get our attention, the world as we know it has come to a standstill.
As March 2020 rolled in, I’m sure many made plans to complete a thorough cleaning of their homes. Spring cleaning, where drapes are washed, garages are cleared out, etc. etc. etc. Even if spring cleaning wasn’t on your calendar, most likely something was scheduled. We all live our lives as if tomorrow is promised. Yet, if you have ever experienced the loss of a loved one or faced your own mortality, it’s always a sobering wakeup call that tomorrow is not promised. In this global crisis we are facing collectively, our own mortality. No matter the source of this virus, I believe God is allowing it as warning to the Body of Christ, as a warning to set our houses in order. WE MUST examine ourselves to know that we are in the faith, that we are in right standing with God. Let the spring cleaning of our souls begin. You must ask, “Where have I missed it?”, “What am I supposed to be doing?” or ask the Lord to search your heart. Be open to the response, don’t argue or defend yourself, but submit. This is not merely for the sake of preventing us from dying unprepared to meet the Lord in judgment but to usher in an end-time harvest (Mathew 9:37). Remember death is not an end but a transition from one life to the next (heaven or hell).
Supportive Scriptures for the spring cleaning of our hearts:
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Joel 2:13 “So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.”

Luke 12:20 “But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’”
2 Kings 20:1-2 “In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’” Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD, saying,”
Ezekiel 11:19 “Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,”
Psalms 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”
James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
The current mandate for the leadership of the church is to call a solemn assembly, to lead the Body of Christ into a heartfelt repentance. As a believer, individually, we are to be the change we are believing for, we must assist to bring revival within ourselves. Then we can come together collectively as a body and usher in a revival/end-time harvest.
